The 693720-001 is bundled with a HPE SmartCarrier drive tray which uses System status LED icons to display the current status of the hard drive. HPE SmartCarrier trays feature a spinning activity ring that reflects the data-writing process to notify users when the server is currently writing data to the drive. HPE SmartCarrier trays feature a “do not remove” icon positioned on the tray's eject button that lights up to prevent users from pulling the drive as doing so will cause data loss.
